I just had a West Vleederen 12 last Monday is Brugge. I'm not a beer geek so I probably didn't know what I was actually drinking but it was the best beer I've ever had. Most expensive too...7 Euro. You get what you pay for.
Dode, me too. I know there is life beyond Chimay. I was in Europe on biz recently...London, in fact....at a hotel and asked for a beer. 6 bloody pounds (12 bucks) for that thing. I nearly sullied my undershorts.
