Our Nation's Capital...

....is and will always be a swamp. I dunno how people can live here in this visible, nearly constant 95% humidity.

DC is an interesting place. The politics/politicking...even in the software industry....is unbearable. Everything is some huge posturing event. Go to New York and people give you the straight dope. Go to SF and you get 'niced' to death (unless you're driving of course). Here, you have to lobby and perform 'services' to get your needs met.

The run this AM was sea-level and pleasant. No need for depth today, merely to turn over some coals and keep the embers orange. More work this weekend then rest before we kick things off in Breck next weekend.

Bush apres MTB faceplant.

Next time you're in DC, let me know, we can hook you up with a bike. Come mid-week and you can try cross in the humidity and lots of oxygen (I'm sure you'd crush us with all the extra oxygen)

Where are you staying? In DC?

Next time come 2 hours south to the Valley, same humidity and same heat, sans the politics/politicking.

And stellar riding.

Have a Great Day.

You guys rule! I wish I could have hooked up (was NOT thinking in advance) as it was a very tight business trip. Next time!! Seriously, let me know if any of you trek it out to CO and the favor will be returned in kind!

Thanks!
