Decisions, decisions
In a bit of a dilemma. This is the problem space I am dealing with:
Oh, and I need to squeeze in my street clothes. D'oh! Now, I need to quit my over thinking, pare down, and take what I need. At this point I have two of everything:
- Two Rock Lobsters in a Tri All case
- Two sets of wheels in a Tri All wheel case
- Various small tools
- Helmet
- Two sets of Oakleys
- Two sets of shoes (OK, 3)
- Two sets of gloves (OK 4)
- Two sets of leg warmers
- Two sets of base layers
- Two different kinds of leg oils
- Two different kind of knit caps and cycling caps
- Three skin suits
- Two cold weather jackets
- Two light weather jackets
- Two rain jackets
- Over pants for the wet and muddy pre-rides
- A week's wort of street clothes
- Beauty aids including bubble bath and my rubber ducky
- Computer and camera for blogilicious reports from the motherland
- EU Power Adapter
- Maps and books

OMG, how long are you going to be there? Jk I'll be in the same boat next week, though I'm taking much less, one bike for THE one race. Staying at Zilvermeer A-frames 17Jan - 23Jan. Will be doing a lot of pre-riding the day before on course. I'll holla at you if I see you in the RM gear.
The bubble bath and rubber ducky are tres essential and should be moved straight to the top of the list!
I was so happy to see that you are lugging the camera and computer... can't wait for the reports.

Shoe covers....? Those are a necessity even with 2 pairs of shoes. If you don't have any sweet ones, wait till your over there and buy some of the PRO brand ones at a local shop. They are sick.

You know, we almost shacked up at teh cabins but are staying at this killer place central to a bunch of teh races we'll be doing between the NL and Belgium. DEFINITELY grab me if you see me and we'll grabe us some liquid brown gold and get our shit eating grins on.

You are spot on my brother from another mother. See, your dad raised no nincompoop. Damn straight I'm gonna source some of those bad-boy Sidi show covers when I am over there and be all PRO like! I'll be so PRO they'll kick me out of Boulder for being too damn PRO. The local PRO's will be out of their gourd with PRO-envy because of my sick PRO shoe covers.

Dudectomy- Best of luck over there. One note of caution: two bikes in a double case a heavy piece of baggage. It is worth checking the domestic and international weight limits on baggage. It may cost a fortune to pack both in one box, or worse, be overwieght and you have to re-distribute stuff into other bags at the airport or leave something behind. This happened friends of mine two years ago at DIA.
Nope, I'm outta there. Enough beat down by the euros for me....

Halve the number of jackets and leg warmers. Throw in a few sets of rubber gloves for just in case. Add an extra empty suitcase filled with foam. Buy lots of beer and wine in Belgium, cut out correct shapes in case and fill. Share with buddies back home.
