For reals... Greg's site is the go-to place for some entertaining cross news (when you should be working), and the pro-active cycling movement in The Bubble. You just have to come out to one of the Wednesday morning cross rides to see all the good peeps. It's the biggest group of fast yet friendly people out "racin".

I could probably submit a change order to the GC for a "Door to the Cycling Community" for at least a few grand.

I passed some dude riding the mountain today, on his way to work, and I was very jealous. I definitely thought about riding in today, especially with the gorgeous weather, but the schedule wasn't going to allow it.

Greg's post on the single speed struck my heart and is spot on. I did just one single speed cross race this season, and am sad I waited so long to switch the bike (back) to a single speed. I can't wait for the spring cross races in Eagle, just so I can race the 1-gear again!

Yeah, we totally need to track down a hand-cranked air raid siren for the races. Speaking of that, Greg's site gave me the thought that you should start a site just for FANS of cyclocross. Guys and gals that never race, but want to come out and cheer. Instead of pictures of bikes you could have track-side grilling recipes, features on noisemakers, and photos of other super-fans.

Unfortunately it seems that most of the Colorado cycling community is too cool, too busy, or too "other" to take part in supporting other parts of their sport. Unless Chris Horner is going to be there at which point they'll just insult him.

I'd love to see more super-fans at the races and more grilling.

Remember how Boulder Parks and Rec got mad at us for grilling in a non sanctioned area, in a non sanctioned device? I can't even begin to imagine what sort of hullabaloo a real, live air raid siren would cause. Can't we just clap politely?

Brian and I decided to embark on an adventure. It is a study in blog-tourism, first hitting up the cycling related blogs in the Colorado cycling community, but who knows where our travels will take us. As our gracious host for the day (and we thank you profusely) you get to pick tomorrow's venue.

Seth, I must say, thank you for mentioning that I haven't updated it some time. I can't help it that I'm turning into a neurotic whiny little brat. I just figure no one really wants to hear that. I'll try and think of something topical to post while I'm out on the audit this week.
