MOOSE CROSS!
Indeed there is 'cross in Idaho! Our friends in Victor, ID are throwin' themselves a cross and it looks like a good'un! Click on the image below to navigate to their Blogspot to learn more!

Thanks for posting that Greg! This idea stemmed from my addiction to your site, your travels last January, the incredible scene here in Boulder, and the boys back in Jackson Hole/Victor Idaho (neighboring towns) getting all fired up after my constant reports from the incredible Boulder cross season last year. Now...they're about as cross crazed as it gets...and it's all things Belgian, Beers and Barriers for them. After your 3 clinics- I’m off next week to put on their first cross clinic on the Thu. night before the Sat. Races. (I’ll quote you, instead of your polish source…and stress the efficiency of staying on the bike, pushing with the left leg into the snake like remounts, and of course, try to show chain breaking start techniques)
Moose Cross Facts- 8hrs by car from Boulder . Worth it for a few reasons. Cash and beer prizes. Grand Teton Brewery is on course and their Octoberfest celebration is going in conjunction with race (so none of this “see you there” afterparty…it’s right there and these Wyoming and Idaho boys and girls mix there bike racing and beer drinking like no other…why we race for Snake River Brewery/Fitzgerald’s Bicycles) Stunning scenic wonderland (Grand Teton and Yellowstone looming behind course) and high probability of Moose actually being seen near course, gracious hosting group, camping is free in National Forest campground and right near course, very cool small town of Victor, Idaho and resort town of Jackson, WY are both worth the trip...and i'll be doing my best Dave Towle attempts on the PA. So...who's coming up? Chellie and I are going. It could be on the way to cross vegas for some of you! Beers on me for all Boulder racers.
