Master's Worlds Photos - 1970 - '74

Grabbed from MTB Kalender, an extremely popular results and race calendar site used in the Netherlands and Belgium. We used this when there quite a bit last year and have been taking pictures for a long time at Mol/Masters including last years race.

Looks like the modified the course slightly this year.

I have a question, being relatively new to the sport, the Master's Worlds, can anyone go and race if you are of age or is it invitation only?

Hey Noslo! Welcome to the site...and the sport! Master's Worlds is an open event....open to anyone who has a UCI International License from your National Governing body (USA Cycling in our case) in addition to not being in the UCI top 200 men/100 women and some other criteria such as not having ridden for a UCI licensed trade team in eh year leading up to the event among some other criteria. Go and get the experience! Just bring an enormous set of cojones as you are racing many of the best ex pro racers (or current UCI pros in the case of my race last year! Drama! Ha!).

Thanks for the info Greg! Not sure if I'm ready for the trip just yet (maybe start with Nationals...) but it's something to contemplate on those long evenings on the trainer...

It being my first 'cross season, I raced C category last year and got some pretty decent results so it's on to B. Gotta say, after several years of road cycling and racing, this is where it's at!
