Za Trip 2010 | The troops prepare to disembark
The last training rides are being put in and the bikes are being packed. My boys are looking good and feeling super fit for the campaign in Belgium and the Netherlands. It is bittersweet to see them go (and I won’t be there!)…especially when you see such passionate guys like Brian, Michael and Ward, go experience the Motherland for their first times.
Their program:
RACE: Langemark 1/15
RACE: Bakel 1/16
RACE: Mol – (Master’s World Championships)1/22
RACE: Assende 1/23
To the Belgians and the Dutch and the many riders flooding in to Mol/Zilvermeer from random countries: My boys are coming not to play patty-cakes. My boys are coming to race hard. To take your prijs money. They are coming to drink your beer and are coming to commune. Most of all they are coming to have fun doing what we all love and (often) bleed for.
Best of luck boys. Make us proud!
Lastly, to our European compatriots: talk to the boys about Louisville Kentucky in 2012. Everyone is super excited for the event and we’ll give you the scoop on how ‘cross is exploding here in the States, our racing scene here and anything else you may want to know before making your plans to cross Za Pond’.
